Hi, I’m Monica, a UX/UI and information designer based in Calgary.
I recently graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor of Communication in Information Design. My work spans user research, interface design, and visual communication, with projects ranging from accessible civic reporting to rental reviews and digital learning.
I enjoy figuring out where people get stuck and what would make their experience better. That might involve testing a prototype, rethinking how information is organized, or refining a layout. I bring an accessibility-focused approach to each stage, from early research to the details of an interface.
I’m looking for opportunities to contribute to a design team and continue building my practice. I’m open to roles across Canada and willing to relocate for the right opportunity.
Outside of design, I enjoy skiing, painting, reading, and spending time with my two cats.
